Wherever goods arrive strapped, the annoying straps stay behind. Collected loosely, they quickly become a problem because they take up a lot of space and are awkward to handle.

Straps slip out of bins, get caught on pallet trucks and end up in walkways. Steel straps also have sharp edges.

Long, tangled straps are hard to handle and almost impossible to sort by material. That costs time and makes recycling harder.

The Band Cutter shreds plastic and steel straps quickly, right where they accumulate. Combined with the recycling collection box, the short pieces drop straight into the container and are collected by material type.

Done in three steps
Step 1
Cut
Cut the strap on the pallet as usual.
Step 2
Remove metal seals
Take off the metal seals so that only the strap goes into the cutter.
Step 3
Shred
Feed the strap in briefly. The cutter pulls it in automatically, shreds it and drops the pieces into the collection container below.

Plastic straps made of PP and PET as well as steel straps, 9 to 32 mm wide and up to 1 mm thick.
How big are the pieces after shredding?
The straps are cut to a length of approx. 85 mm, so they can be collected densely and take up little space.
What power supply do I need?
A 400 V connection with a 16 A CEE socket. Motor power is 0.55 kW, and a 1.1 kW version is available as an option.

Are replacement blades available?
Yes, you can get replacement blades directly from us. Both blades have 4 cutting edges each, which you can use one after the other.
